We are seeking a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), certified by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (CBDCE), to enhance our team. This role requires a specialist who can provide expert guidance and education to clients with diabetes, helping them to manage their condition through lifestyle adjustments, particularly in areas of nutrition, exercise, and medication management.
Responsibilities:
Assess client health data and history to develop personalized diabetes management and educational plans.
Provide ongoing education and support to clients on topics such as blood glucose monitoring, medication adherence, and the impact of physical activity on blood sugar levels.
Design exercise programs that are safe and effective for individuals with diabetes, considering any complications or limitations.
Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to diabetes care.
Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in diabetes care and education to continuously enhance the service provided to clients.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions, progress, and educational outcomes.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) from the CBDCE.
Proven experience in diabetes education and management, with a thorough understanding of diabetes pathophysiology and treatment strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating client needs and monitoring their progress.
